Level 3 Soil Survey

Often referred to as a “Perc Test”, a level 3 soil survey is performed to determine the suitability of soil for an on-site septic system and/or determine the approximate depth of rock or water tables. This study level is required by Environmental Health to permit an on-site septic system. Service includes site visit where our team will use a hand auger to bore approximately 4 holes ± 72” deep. The soil retrieved is evaluated by a soil scientist, classified to determine absorption rates, and the absorption rates determine the suitability of the soil, which will be detailed in a map and report of our findings. Perc tests are one of the most common types of soil reports and our team is expertly trained to perform this service.
